Once you have your site or lead capture page in place you need to buy some traffic.  What the heck is traffic right?  Traffic is the industry word for people who visit websites.  For example, when you go to Facebook, you are counted and referred to as “traffic”  Traffic is very valuable, in fact Facebook make all their income from selling you and your information to advertisers.  So does Google.
Businesses use a variety of forms of lead generation to fill their sales funnel, from prospecting on social media networks to purchasing targeted lists of accurate and up-to-date contact information. To help, we identified the top business lead sources and looked at how easy it is to identify leads and move them into a customer relationship management (CRM) software. Finally, we considered the overall cost of purchasing leads, whether individually, in bulk, or as a subscription service.
One of my favorite approaches to get my pipeline going is attend a bunch of meetups or local events in my area. I teach what I do on this blog – How to network at events. I love this approach as only people who want something MORE in their life will bother attending events and that is a lot easier type of person to talk to than someone who is NOT motivated to network or build their business.
As a last resort, you could try cold calling by phone. This is probably the most depressing and soul destroying activity on the planet. Even if you get past the usual questions such as ‘If you’re selling something – I’m not interested’ and ‘How did you get my number?’ you need a really slick and professional script and the ability to recognize and avoid lonely old ladies who just want to interact with someone, anyone, in fact.
